The TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI supports Intel Core 14th, 13th and 12th Gen processors, along with compatible Pentium Gold and Celeron processors, on the LGA1700 socket. Its 16+1+1 power stages integrate high-side and low-side MOSFETs with drivers in packages rated for up to 60 amps. Military-grade TUF chokes, 5K black metallic capacitors, Digi+ VRM and a six-layer PCB support stable power delivery, while dual 8-pin ProCool connectors provide a secure, low-impedance connection to the power supply.

DDR5 Optimisation & Four M.2 Slots

Four DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel memory at speeds of up to 7200 MT/s when overclocked, with a maximum capacity of 192GB. AEMP II optimises compatible PMIC-restricted memory modules through a flexible training process, while OptiMem II improves signal integrity and Intel XMP simplifies profile-based configuration. Four PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots provide extensive NVMe expansion, including support for two 22110 drives and one slot with SATA M.2 compatibility. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports and Intel Rapid Storage Technology enable PCIe and SATA RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 configurations.
