ASUS ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor WiFi 7 AiMesh Router – 3600Mbps, IP65, Dual 2.5G PoE+ | 90IG09A0-MO3B60

Worry-Free WiFi, Indoors and Out

Powered by WiFi 7 and next-gen AiMesh technology, the ASUS ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor router delivers blazing-fast speeds up to 3,600 Mbps, helping ensure seamless and reliable WiFi from your backyard to every corner of your home. IP65 water resistance and flexible mounting options make it ideal for outdoor installation in a variety of settings — backyards, swimming pools, garages with electric car chargers and more. Dual 2.5G PoE ports streamline setup by eliminating the need for an electrical outlet, while advanced network security features and Smart Home Master SSIDs deliver premium protection and effortless control.

Unleashing WiFi 7 for Outdoor Connectivity

The ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor boasts cutting-edge WiFi 7 technology with wired or wireless backhaul options: 688 Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2882 Mbps on 5GHz with up to 20% more efficient transfers via 4K-QAM. Comprehensive Multi-Link Operation intelligently combines and switches between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to eliminate buffering, and the BD4 Outdoor is built for use with all WiFi 7 devices regardless of the MLO mode they use. Ultrawide 160MHz channels deliver ultrafast data transfer rates with reduced latency.

WiFi 7 Powering AiMesh

The ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor harnesses WiFi 7 and next-gen AiMesh technology to deliver wider coverage and a more stable, secure network — seamlessly connecting with any ASUS extendable router to extend your home network outdoors. One pack covers up to 2,530 sq. ft. indoors and up to 15,000 sq. ft. in open outdoor environments. The MLO Network feature establishes smart connections across multiple bands for uninterrupted streaming, remote work or entertainment outdoors.

Dual 2.5G PoE+ Ports & Versatile Installation

The BD4 Outdoor supports both PoE+ (Power over Ethernet, IEEE 802.3at) and AC power for flexible installation. Two 2.5G PoE+ Ethernet ports with auto WAN detection automatically identify your connection type, with the designated WAN port supporting PoE-in — plug-and-play flexibility for any outdoor setup. The included mounting kits enable wall mounting, pole mounting or tabletop placement for easy deployment and efficient space utilization.

Robust Design for Outdoor Scenarios

With ESD and surge protection, the BD4 Outdoor resists damage from electrostatic discharge, promoting the longevity of sensitive electronic components. The IP65 rating certifies resistance against dust and water ingress, and a wide -30°C to 60°C operating range handles extreme temperatures. A powerful heatsink and graphite sheets provide enhanced heat dissipation, high heat-resistant rugged PC plastic withstands harsh environments, and stainless steel screws prevent rust for lasting durability.

Safeguard Everyone and Every Connected Device

ASUS Network Security provides comprehensive triple-level protection: commercial-grade cloud protection powered by Trend Micro shields your smart home network, while feature-packed controls empower every household member. A one-tap Security Scan diagnoses network health, instant notifications alert you to new device connections, and auto security updates defend against emerging threats. Smart Home Master subnetwork management streamlines dedicated SSIDs — an IoT Network, a Kids’ Network with screen-time management, and a VPN Network with one-click connections.

Comprehensive VPNs & Easy Setup

Enjoy secure browsing, data privacy and remote access with versatile VPN protocols — the cutting-edge WireGuard delivers lightning-fast speeds up to 300 Mbps, OpenVPN provides up to 150 Mbps, and multiple VPN connections run simultaneously. ASUS Instant Guard provides a one-tap secure VPN when away from home, shareable through a URL link. The intuitive ASUS Router app makes setup and management simple with three-step easy setup right on your smartphone.
