Excelsior AI Workstation – Threadripper PRO 9985WX, 3x RTX PRO 6000 96GB, 512GB DDR5 ECC, 8TB NVMe

64-Core Threadripper PRO Processing

The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9985WX delivers 64 cores and 128 threads, a 3.2GHz base clock, boost speeds of up to 5.4GHz and extensive PCIe 5.0 connectivity. Its Zen 5 architecture and 256MB of L3 cache provide the parallel processing performance required for AI development, CPU rendering, complex simulations, large datasets and demanding professional multitasking.

Triple RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Graphics

Three PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition graphics cards accelerate compatible AI, rendering, simulation and compute workloads. Each card features 24,064 CUDA cores, a dedicated 96GB GDDR7 ECC memory buffer, a 512-bit memory interface and up to 1,792GB/s memory bandwidth. The three cards provide 288GB of total installed GPU memory, with each GPU retaining independent access to its own 96GB memory. Twelve DisplayPort 2.1 outputs across the three cards support extensive high-resolution display configurations.

512GB Eight-Channel ECC Memory

Eight Kingston 64GB DDR5 modules provide 512GB of ECC Registered memory at 5600MT/s. With all eight motherboard DIMM slots populated, the configuration utilises the platform’s eight-channel memory architecture for high-bandwidth access to large datasets, complex projects and memory-intensive professional applications.

8TB of High-Speed PCIe 5.0 Storage

Two Samsung 9100 PRO 4TB M.2 NVMe SSDs provide 8TB of total installed storage. Each drive uses a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and delivers sequential read speeds of up to 14,800MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 13,400MB/s, providing high-speed capacity for AI datasets, project libraries, high-resolution media and production assets. Two additional onboard M.2 slots, two SlimSAS ports and four SATA connections provide further storage-expansion options.

Professional WRX90E Expansion and Connectivity

The ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE EEB motherboard supports up to 2TB of DDR5 ECC R-DIMM memory and provides seven PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and four PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots. Dual Intel 10GbE, dedicated BMC management networking, AST2600/IPMI support and USB4 40Gbps connectivity provide high-speed data transfer and remote system-management capabilities.

420mm sTR5 Cooling and 3000W Platinum Power

The Thermaltake AW420 liquid cooler is purpose-built for high-power sTR5 processors, combining a 420mm radiator, three 140mm TOUGHFAN 14 Pro fans and a full-coverage cold plate, with a rated cooling capacity of up to 625W TDP. The ASUS Pro WS 3000W power supply provides 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compatibility, native 12V-2×6 GPU power connections and substantial output for this triple-GPU workstation.

Full-Tower Workstation Chassis

The Fractal Design Define 7 XL Black chassis supports SSI-EEB motherboards, large liquid-cooling radiators up to 420mm and extensive fan configurations. Three Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans are included, while the sound-dampened panels, spacious interior, ModuVent top panel and flexible storage layout support organised cable management and adaptable workstation cooling.
